Born and raised in southeast Georgia on St. Simons Island, I was raised immersed in faith with a foundation built on integrity and hard work. My attention to detail and willingness to work tirelessly to accomplish goals while enjoying what I do has kept me in the hospitality field. "Southern hospitality" is more than a saying to me - it is a way of living and dedication to excellence - both professionally and personally.
After graduating from Hollins University and working in a law office for a few years, I quickly realized that I was not passionate about the profession. So, I went back to what I'm best at- being creative, personable and self-driven. From there, I co-owned a restaurant and served as the Catering Director. After growing the business exponentially, I returned home to St. Simons Island where I was hired as the Event Director for a local festival, raising money for something dear to my heart, Hospice. In addition, I served as the Catering Manager for a renowned restaurant group and Special Events Coordinator for the local Chamber of Commerce. During this period I had the pleasure of working alongside the very best in the field and have experience with managing not just weddings, but from festivals to golf tournaments, galas to charity events and private dinners. I have nearly 15 years of experience with events coordination.
As fate would have it, I met my husband on St. Simons, albeit he is from Australia! We live here with our son and twin son and daughter. We love being outdoors, on the water or beach, spending time as a family - it's the good stuff that feeds the soul!
